Remove the chuck screw inside of the chuck, it's a left hand screw. Lay the hammer drill on its side. Insert the short end of a 1/2 inch allen in the chuck and tighten it with the chuck. Strike the long end of the allen wrench with a hammer until the chuck starts spinning off of the spindle. Install the new chuck hand tight, and screw in the chuck screw. Note: put the hammer drill in drill mode and on low speed.
